On the outside, a sporty look that in every design element shows both continental elegance and passion for the mountain. On the inside, a comfort beyond the ordinary that can only be achieved with the very best materials. Meet Zena Jacket – a ski jacket that sets a new standard in the art of mixing exclusive design with top performance.
In this jacket we use several different materials to get the tastefully luxurious look. The outer material is durAtec® Extreme with high waterproofness and good breathability. The contrast panels are in a stretchy synthetic material to offer freedom of movement, and some of the jacket's details are in artificial leather. The garment is not fully taped but has taped seams in exposed places to provide weather protection in skiing under normal conditions.
The biggest secret with the wonderful comfort is the padding. PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume® is a new feather-light insulation material with a down feel that simply imitates the qualities of real down – but is 100% synthetic and also made from 25% recycled material. The insulation's uniqueness is extremely low weight, super soft feeling, efficient warmth and water resistance, meaning the filling warmes even if it gets wet. The result is a jacket with fantastic comfort and warmth, while at the same time it has a very light feeling. The luxurious, comfy interior of the jacket is created with the soft inner lining, which also has the advantage of being climate-smart. The fabric is dyed with an environmentally friendly process called e®dye, a method where no water is needed as with traditional dyeing.
Comfort is also based on smart details and the possibility of personal adaptation: The jacket has a padded, removable hood which can be easily adjusted with drawstrings, and the protective high collar is lined with soft fleece. Inside, there is a flexible snowgaiter in stretch material at the waist and the sleeves have zippers to get a nice and comfortable fit at your gloves or mittens. The two hand pockets at the waist are lined with soft tricot material. The jacket has two additional chest pockets, a ski pass pocket on the sleeve and two inner pockets, one of which has a zipper and the other is in mesh. All zippers are from leading YKK®, and the outer ones are also waterproof. The exclusivity of the jacket is marked with our nice badge on the sleeve.
