Gear up for backcountry adventures and off-piste skiing with the latest version of this uncompromising shell jacket.
The construction of the jacket is carefully designed so every detail and cut fulfills its function and sits in exactly the right place. In addition, low weight and a well-balanced fit to be able to comfortably wear layers underneath and a backpack are key features in the design.
For maximum performance, we use durAtec® Supreme in 3-layer shell construction. The material has exceptionally high rating with 20,000 mm waterproofness and 15,000g/m2/24h breathability. The material also has slight stretch increasing freedom of movement.
The jacket is equipped with an extra high collar and a fixed storm hood, compatible with a helmet. The hood can be tightened with drawstrings. The ends of the sleeves are slightly trumpet-shaped and have velcro adjustment to provide a snug connection at the gloves. Drawstring at the bottom for adjusting the width and snowgaiter at the waist ensures that snow does not penetrate from below.
To be able to ventilate excess heat, or to be able to take out the arms with the jacket on while touring, the jacket has extra long zippers under each sleeve.
The two large chest pockets have heavy zippers with easy-grip pullers, the ski pass pocket is on the sleeve. Inside, there is an inner pocket in stretch mesh with zipper. The jacket's outer zippers are waterproof, from well-known YKK®, and colour-coordinated tone-in-tone for a monochrome look.
The styling is minimalistic with our iconic "8" in metal on the chest, printed logo on the sleeve strap and embossed logo on the hood brim.
Care Advice:
Our shell garments are made to last, with proper care, they will be faithful companions for many years. To preserve performance and water-repellency, we recommend to always re-impregnate them after washing. This can be done after washing, when the garment is dry, by tumble drying the garment for about 15 minutes, alternatively gently ironing it. With the products Organo-Tex Wash-In or Spray-On, you can further enhance the function without affecting breathability, colour, or structure.
