Was het kledingstuk apart en gebruik een wasmiddel zonder bleekmiddel. Sluit vóór het wassen alle drukknopen en ritsen en laat het kledingstuk niet weken. Gebruik geen wasverzachter en centrifugeer het kledingstuk op een normaal programma. Hang het direct na het wassen op om te drogen en schud het regelmatig op tijdens het drogen. Om de waterafstotende behandeling te behouden, kun je het kledingstuk binnenstebuiten gedurende 15 minuten op lage temperatuur (maximaal 40°C) in de droger drogen.
