Voor een optimale levensduur van dit kledingstuk wordt aangeraden het binnenstebuiten en apart te wassen op maximaal 30°C met een wasmiddel zonder bleekmiddel. Gebruik geen wasverzachter, laat het kledingstuk niet weken en vermijd bleekmiddelen, chemische reiniging, strijken en drogen in de wasdroger. Hang het direct na het wassen uit en schud het tijdens het drogen regelmatig op zodat de vorm en het comfort behouden blijven. Om de waterafstotende behandeling optimaal te laten presteren, kan het kledingstuk na het drogen binnenstebuiten gedurende 15 minuten op een lage temperatuur (maximaal 40°C) in de droger worden geplaatst. Hierdoor blijven de beschermende eigenschappen langer behouden.
