Our efforts to reduce our environmental impact go hand in hand with our ambition to offer our customers the very best in ski and streetstyle. To achieve this, we use the latest technologies and materials from leading suppliers that provide both high performance and environmental responsibility. Here's a selection:
Recycled Polyester and Nylon
One of our most significant efforts is our ever-increasing use of recycled polyester and nylon in many of our technical fabrics. This not only reduces the need to extract new raw materials but also lowers energy consumption and waste management in production.
Primaloft®
To offer alternatives to down, we collaborate with market-leading Primaloft®, which develops synthetic insulation materials that are as warm and lightweight as down, produced in a sustainable manner, including the use of recycled polyester.
Sorona® Padding
This partially plant-based padding requires 30% less energy and emits 50% fewer greenhouse gases compared to production from non-renewable resources.
Thermolite® EcoMade T-DOWN
Made from 100% recycled polyester, it provides excellent warmth and softness, another examlpe of our commitment to use existing resources responsibly.
Re:Down®
This filling consists of 100% GRS-certified recycled down and feathers, completely avoiding the addition of new down from animals. The reused down comes from clothing and is washed and sorted to achieve the best possible composition and quality. Re:Down® is unique in being one of the few companies offering 100% recycled down.
e.dye®
For the dyeing of lining fabrics, we increasingly choose e.dye® technology, reducing water usage by 100%, chemicals by 90%, energy by 50%, and CO2 emissions by 60% compared to traditional dyeing methods.
S.Cafe®
Through an innovative process, recycled coffee grounds are used in the fabric manufacturing, reducing the ecological footprint and providing our products with unique properties.
TechSteel™ Vectran™
To reinforce our most advanced products, we use TechSteel™ Vectran™ from Swedish FOV Fabrics, an extremely strong reinforcing material known for its exceptional tear strength.
