The Pow Jacket is for you who love big mountains and everything they can offer – from freeride to ski touring – you gladly do everything that combines action and adventure with your passion for skiing. With this versatile and highly functional shell jacket, you get full freedom to enjoy your favourite activities, all the way from the start of the season to spring skiing.
In the jacket's construction, every detail and cut has been carefully designed to fulfill its function and sit in exactly the right place. Low weight and a fit that comfortably allows a second layer under the jacket, and a backpack, are additional aspects we had with us in the development to create jacket that really delivers. Once you get that opportunity to drop into a once-in-a-lifetime powder run, everything just has to work in one way: Perfect.
To get maximum weather protection, we use our most advanced material durAtec ® Supreme, in a 3-layer shell construction. The material has exceptionally high performance, with 20,000 mm waterproofness and 15,000g/m2/24h breathability, which ensures that you stay dry in all situations. The material also has a light stretch that gives an extra smooth feeling to the garment.
The jacket has an extra high collar and a fixed storm hood, designed to work also with a helmet. The hood can be tightened with drawstrings to fit securely. The sleeve ends are slightly trumpet-shaped and have velcro adjustment to be able to provide a comfortable and tight connection to the gloves. Drawstring at the bottom for adjusting the width and snowgaiter at the waist ensures that snow does not penetrate from below. To be able to ventilate excess heat, or to be able to take out the arms with the jacket on during ski touring, the jacket has extra long zippers under each sleeve.
The two large chest pockets have heavy, waterproof YKK® zippers with easy-grip pullers. Ski pass pocket on teh sleeve. Inside the jacket there is an inner pocket in stretch mesh with zipper, perfect for the beanie or headband. The jacket is profiled with a small "8" in metal on the chest and an embossed logo on the sleeve's velcro straps.
